                                   A pug is a dog

                               With a curlicue tail

                                He eats like a hog

                        And he snores like a whale

                            He’s flat in the snout

                              And his belly is big

                               The pug came out

                           Just by misspelling pig

Pete the sweet bee

There was a bee

                                 Named sweetie pete

                                    His hair was slick

                                He smelled so sweet

                                   He’d take a bath

                                  Each day at home.

                                 Then comb his hair

                                   With honeycomb.

                         Now six is scared of seven

                           Because seven ate nine

It needs to have:

                               Lovely dark eyes as bright as a star

                               Dark brown fur as soft as a kitten

                               A head like a tiger ready to pounce

                               And a back like a lion

                              Paws with pads as soft as a wild cat

                              And a big waggy tail

                              Its straight jumping legs as strong as sofa legs

                              And that will be your perfect dog forever
